The Ultimate Binge Watcher's TV Bible

The Era Of Peak TV may give us more great TV than ever before, but this golden time does have its drawbacks, too. The main television issue these days? Having so many choices that it’s impossible to settle on just one show. Seriously, think of all the TV show recommendations you get in a single day. It’s overwhelming.

That’s why we broke down all the best television series you can binge right now. We picked shows that live on their networks and streaming sites, so they’ll never disappear because of some strange business battle or contractual dispute. There’s everything from comedies and dramas, Netflix originals and HBO blockbusters, zany comedies and serious dramas.

Scroll through the gallery right now to find out which show you need to binge next.

Lovesick

Rom-com Lovesick — previously titled the understandably-ditched Scrotal Recall — is the feel-good show very few people are talking about. Please binge this shockingly lovable comedy, about a young British man (Johnny Flynn) informing all of his past sexual partners of an STI diagnosis, the second you have a free moment.

Despite the out-there premise, I swear you'll thank me.

iZombie

Everyone loved Veronica Mars from writer-creator-producer Rob Thomas. So, why is Thomas's latest project, zombie crime show iZombie, getting so little love? The CW series' lead character, Liv Moore (Rose McIver) is just as intelligent, determined, and witty as the aforementioned Miss Mars — plus, Liv cashes in on our latest zombie craze in a much more creative way than a certain AMC blockbuster.

With three complete seasons now on Netflix, it's time to get bit by the (i)Zombie bug.

Twin Peaks

With the debut of Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival right around the corner, there’s no better time to binge the cult series’ original episodes.

The Hotwives Franchise

We officially miss the ridiculousness of the satirical The Hotwives franchise, which perfectly lampoons all of our favorite Real Housewives tropes.

Game Of Thrones

If you’re one of the seven people who still hasn’t seen Game Of Thrones, start binging immediately. Once you enter the world of Westeros you’ll never want to leave.

Penny Dreadful

There's 3 season with 27 episodes filled with demons, vampires, and old-timey brooding to binge though. Penny Dreadful couldn’t be a better companion for a rainy weekend inside.

Outlander

If you love the gorgeous period touches of Penny, but are terrified by its creepy horror elements, dive into Outlander. The Starz series is beautiful and offers some of the best sex scenes on television.

Shameless

There’s more to binging than super serious dramas. Take Showtime’s black comedy Shameless for instance. The misadventures of the dysfunctional Gallaghers are too crazy to stop watching.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

For everyone who thinks Shameless is too dark, there’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The Netflix comedy uses more candy colors than a cartoon, but it's also one of the smartest shows out there.

Black Mirror

Black Mirror is so haunting you won’t be able to look away.

Orange Is The New Black

OITNB was one of Netflix’s first must-binge shows. And it’s still one of their best.

13 Reasons Why

The high school drama started dominating headlines the moment it premiered on Netflix. If you haven’t watched 13 Reasons Why now, it’s time to press play.

Jessica Jones

Netflix has introduced all four of its Marvel superhero shows and Jessica Jones is by far our favorite. Enjoy all of the Krysten Ritter-starring series’ stellar first season and then keep your fingers crossed that season 2 gets a premiere date soon.

Dear White People

I literally watched 98% of Dear White People in one day. It’s that good.

If you’re going to binge any Amazon original series, it’s going to be Transparent, the streaming site’s most beloved offering.

Fleabag

This Amazon comedy is the perfect mini-binge in between longer, heavier fare like Game Of Thrones and Jessica Jones.

Power

The Starz drama’s showrunner Courtney Kemp is an absolute boss. Of course her drug kingpin series Power is completely addictive.
