True Romance, You’re So Cool

It's been 22 years since True Romance roared into cinemas in a burst of technicolour. The thriller, directed by Tony Scott and written by Quentin Tarantino, sees call girl Patricia Arquette and comic book assistant Christian Slater fall in love amid murder and a botched cocaine deal. It certainly gets grisly, but will always be fondly remembered for its bubblegum aesthetics and perfectly realised characters.
