Anaconda Choreography by Tricia Miranda
Try and take your eyes off the girl in yellow. She’s Kaelynn Harris and she’s a vue incroyable. Look how fast she runs forward at 0.37. The description on Kaelynn’s instagram reads: “I am movement”.
Dawin ft Silento - Dessert - Choreography by Tricia Miranda
I recently tried to wear full look adidas three-stripe on a Saturday and was laughed back to my bedroom. Why every fashion magazine that leverages street style isn’t lining up to photograph these two [in the first sequence] is beyond me. Adidas, Storm, Models 1, get on the phone. I hoped to never use the word Fitspiration, but this is it.
Rihanna - Bitch Better Have My Money - Choreography by Tricia Miranda
The level of physical fitness, mental focus and total confidence it takes to do this is startling. It’s particularly incredible to watch the younger dancers, who not only perform impeccably, but hold so much attitude in their facial expressions. The girl in the middle in the second sequence wearing a grey top and a bandana is 13-year-old Kaycee Rice; she’s a name worth remembering. At 4.18 pro Tricia Miranda comes in, modestly positioned at the back in a snapback. Her moves are so seamless and smooth that, even after watching the mad skills of the kids she’s taught, it’s still obvious that she’s the one who taught them.
Trini Dem Girls Choreography by Tricia Miranda
Why didn’t this song make it bigger! Darrion Gallegos – the guy at the front with the checked shirt’s swag is making me sweat. The third act, Jade Chenoweth, is a Tricia Miranda favourite, and it’s a holy hip hop miracle that her T-shirt stays on. Spare a minute for the final act, our main mini man, 8-year-old Aidan Prince Xiong, sporting a vest that says “HIP HOP KID”, a mohawk and a leggings under shorts ensemble that would make Astrid Andersen beam.
Christ Porter ft Pitbull - The Water Dance Choreography by Tricia Miranda
My new year’s resolution was going to be to perfect the worm, but the move at 0.17 is the new finish line. This video is particularly well edited, featuring interlude cuts of individual moves that defy the laws of time.
