Although we're Lala-lovers through and through, there are times when a dose of The Big Apple is just what the doctor ordered (and washed down with a glass of rosé, please-and-thank-you!). To that point, our buds at Elyse Walker are hosting a Yigal Azrouël trunk show where you can browse the NYC-based designer’s spring '13 collection, which is full of L.A.-friendly frocks and wear-all-weekend knits. Or, forecast your autumn wardrobe and pre-order fall '13 looks. But buyer beware — we spied a few coats that made us consider hightailing it to a city with actual seasons.
One last excuse to pay the Palisades spot a visit tomorrow: Come say hi to the designer himself while noshing on hors d’oeuvres and sipping vino. Maybe his trip to SoCal will have him contemplating a move à la Hedi Slimane (or, at the very least, a bicoastal lifestyle). Fingers crossed!
